Your notes, right there on the call. Invisible on the shared screen.
DownNote floats over Zoom, Meet and your slides, answers questions about your notes in seconds, and never shows up when you share your screen.

What you see
What everyone else sees
The DownNote window and bubble are left out of screen shares, screenshots and screen recordings on your Mac.
Everything you need, nothing on the shared screen
Stop saying “give me a second, let me find that.” Your notes are one glance or one question away.
Hidden from screen share
Share your whole screen. Everyone sees your slides. Only you see your notes.
Ask your notes
“What did I quote for Oak St?” gets the exact answer and where it came from. Follow-up questions just work.
The see-through bubble
A small bubble in the corner opens into a see-through panel over full-screen calls. Read a whole page or ask a question without leaving the call.
Import anything
Drag in PDFs, Word files and text files. They become pages you can search, edit and ask about.
Projects and pages
One project per client, address or class, with titled pages that look like real paper. Fonts, colors, lists and headings included.
Summaries, print and share
Summarize a page, a highlighted part, or whole chapters. Print, save as PDF, or AirDrop a page.
Made for people who talk for a living
Sales and client calls
Keep your talking points, prices and client details in view while you share your screen.
Students
Import lecture slides and study guides, ask questions while you study, and keep notes in view during class presentations.

Supplier prices, quotes and job details, one question away, on any call.

Questions
Is it really hidden when I share my screen?
Yes. DownNote uses the Mac's built-in setting that keeps a window out of screen shares, screenshots and screen recordings. We've tested it with Google Meet and the Mac's own screenshot and recording tools, and we're testing more apps before launch. A camera pointed at your screen can still see it, of course.
Where are my notes stored?
On your Mac. When you ask the AI a question, the notes it needs are sent securely to our AI provider to write the answer, and we don't keep them. Read the privacy policy for details.
Can I use it during exams or job interviews?
Only if notes are allowed. DownNote is for your own notes in meetings, calls, presentations and studying. If an exam, test or interview says no notes or no outside help, that includes DownNote.
Does it work on Windows, iPhone or Android?
DownNote launches on Mac first. Windows and a phone app are planned. Join the waitlist and we'll let you know.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. Cancel whenever you like and keep your plan until the end of the period you paid for. Your notes stay yours, even on the Free plan.
What's a "Smart AI" question?
Business plans include a more capable AI for harder questions, like comparing several documents or writing a detailed summary. Regular questions use a fast AI that's great for finding facts in your notes.
